My training is in Transactional Analysis (TA) which is person centred and friendly, "designed" to enable ordinary people to understand themselves better and so change feeling, thinking and behaviour.

I receive regular supervision with an experienced and accredited supervisor. I have completed four years at Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy, in the theory and clinical application of TA and am preparing for accreditation with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I abide by the Codes of Ethics of the European Association of Transactional Analysis and the ITA and the Professional Practice Requirements of the Institute of Transactional Analysis.

I have a number of low cost places and charge a minimal amount for those on a low income or unemployed (more can be seen about this on Manchester Institute Low Cost Therapy Website).

One of the central foundations of this service is protection and confidentiality, and to that end I have a firm commitment to maintain your protection and confidentiality!

The service will not usually be suitable for individuals who have severe mental health problems, who are actively suicidal or have a current drug or alcohol misuse problem.
